If you’re a BlackBerry fanboy enthusiast, like myself, then you’ve heard a world of different release dates for the AT&T BlackBerry Bold, ranging from June to October.
Word on the street is that the high-ups are planning a scheduled release date around September 1st, depending on how quickly they can train all their customer service reps.
Journey will be performing at the Mandalay Bay, TONIGHT! I cannot express the joy and excitement I have for this right now. By the virtue of my lovely, illustrious sister, Karen, I was able to obtain two superb seats the night before the show. Thanks Kar!
So who will join me in this event? For that, you’ll have to wait and see. I can only promise the most beautiful woman anyone has ever seen.
I’ll have a boat load of pictures to post and show everyone how the night went. It should be a pretty promising show.
I’ll have a post ready for everyone tomorrow morning.
See ya there!
Update: Apparently, my camera wasn’t allowed in the show. I only got a few shots of Heart and Journey with my BlackBerry.
Despite the prejudicism against my camera, the show was outstanding. We got great seats and great music all night long. And even some inbetween drunk freak show infront of us. It was awesome.
I say wow, because every time I look at my blog I want to write something but I never feel anything I have to say is important enough for me to take a few hours and properly format it and actually Write anything about.
Technology is as slumpy as the free Slurpees you can get at 7-11 on July 11th. The only thing people are really excited about are those retarded iPhone 3Gs, which in my opion is the largest waste of time in forever. Okay, BlackBerry Fan Boy status. Whatever.
I’ve been let down once again by CenterCode and all those lovely R&D people at Intel and AMD. What the fuck?
Anyway. That’s why I haven’t written anything. Not becuase I don’t want to but because I sound like a whiney bitch every time I don’t get my way.
Sooo.. MGMT! Heard of them? Possibly the best thing to happen to my headphones in a while. I pirated the movie 21 not too long ago and I heard some pretty strange music. I researched the lyrics and low and behold it was MGMT. These two guys make the craziest beats and their harmony reminds me of old 70’s hits.
I bought their album, Oracular Spectacular, on iTunes and I have to say it’s one of the most upbeat electronica albums I’ve downloaded. My favorite tracks off the album are Time to Pretend, Weekend Wars, Electric Feel, Of Moons, Birds & Monsters.
BlackBerry users have been long anticipating HTML Email support for their smart phones that it seemed like it would never arrive. This upgrade could mean long awaited HTML email support for BlackBerry devices. RIM is planning on upgrading their U.S. BIS system later this month, which will include a lunch-menu full of updates awaiting their new line of 9000 series BlackBerries.
Aside from the over-exhausted HTML support I’ve been rambling about, the update should include enhancements for OTA (Over-the-Air) upgrades, calendar improvements and some other stuff.
Your device, of course, will have to support all these great new features, but since we’ll all be using the Bold by this time next month, we don’t have much to worry about.
No, I haven’t forgotten my basic math skills, or how to use the Calculator on Windows. The 220-602 IT Technician Exam is the second test required to becoming A+ Certified.
I didn’t really feel it was right for me to have to wait until all the other people at work felt like they wanted to take the pre-screen or the exam for me to be able to advance. I hate having my success rely on the potential of others; because, if you haven’t noticed by now, people suck really bad.
I talked to the trainer at work, Lisa, and she gave me the 220-602 book right away. She gave me a few words of encouragement and overall enlightenment. I plan on studying intensely for the next week or so and then scheduling a pre-screen for the second exam. If I pass with an 80% or better (which I hope I will) then I’m definitely going to schedule the exam for the very next week.
I can’t wait to be certified. It only makes me want to complete more certifications.
Boy Genius has gotten tips on a solid release date from Canadian giant wireless carrier, Rogers. The Bold is apparently being slated for release on Rogers Wireless as soon as June 25th—about a month (give or take a few weeks) ahead of the July or August release date we’ve been hearing for the State’s exlusive carrier AT&T. We hope that Mr. Genius is wrong in this case; either that, or AT&T has a trick up its sleeve and is actually dropping it like it’s hot on Monday, seeing as how we hate it when those damn Beaver Beaters put the one up on anything.
BGR assures us that it’s nothing RIM is doing that’s holding up the launch here in the states.
That’s right! Firefox 3, the browser that has it all, is finally here for download. With over 15,000 improvements, it has been officially released today by Mozilla; a long awaited and needed update.
The people over at Mozilla are calling out for Firefox supporter’s help; and considering all that they’ve done for us in the past (oh you know, create possibly the best web experience ever), I think we owe them one; at least enough to be there when they call us out for support.
So what it is that they need us to do for them? Simply download the new Firefox 3 web browser. Oh? Yeah. Mhmm. That’s it! Mozilla is trying to set a Guinness World Record for the most software downloads in a 24-hour period. The official release of Firefox 3 will become available for public download at 10:00 am PST, that’s only less than 10 minutes away! It will take about a week for the Guinness World Record judges to review Mozilla’s download logs so we should find out whether or not Mozilla successfully broke the record around this time next week.
Judging solely on the frantic buzz of Mozilla and Firefox supporters, I can astutely say that the record will most likely be theirs.
The Bierstick is, oddly enough, a syringe for beer. Why? No one knows.
Astonishingly, it allows the medically-low-in-beer to gulp down 24oz. of beer in 2 seconds flat—which would also probably leave one with a very broken throat in the process, if you’re not used to large amounts of liquid flowing down your throat—and… it’s FDA approved! The most common uses would be for use in swimming pools and lingerie parties.
The Bierstick will set you back a hefty $20, on top of another $500 you would probably need to pay for the hot girls in their white bras and panties required for the proper use of the Bierstick; according to the pictures in the instruction manuals.
I don’t know about you, but I’ve already ordered myself a couple of these. I think it beats the hell out of drinking regular old beer out of a bottle.
