T-Mobile launches 3G right here, in Vegas.

T-Mobile Street AdvertisementT-Mobile has finally flipped the 3G switch! carlthree and sixmode, err I have been waiting desperately for this service to be launched in my own backyard and it seems as the day has finally arrived.

As of this morning, T-Mobile has officially gone live with 3G (HSDPA, UMTS) in Las Vegas. We’re all still stuck with the regular, old, crappy handsets if we want to use a 3G one, but T-Mobile has promised us they’ve got an HSDPA-capable device coming soon. (We’re hoping its the Bold.)

Front ShotJust like its deafeningly arrogant code name, Bold, the newly announced BlackBerry 9000 series is just that; its Bold as hell, regardless of what you conformist hippies think.

It looks as if AT&T has got the exclusive on this one, again.
