T-Mobile launches 3G right here, in Vegas.

T-Mobile Street AdvertisementT-Mobile has finally flipped the 3G switch! carlthree and sixmode, err I have been waiting desperately for this service to be launched in my own backyard and it seems as the day has finally arrived.

As of this morning, T-Mobile has officially gone live with 3G (HSDPA, UMTS) in Las Vegas. We’re all still stuck with the regular, old, crappy handsets if we want to use a 3G one, but T-Mobile has promised us they’ve got an HSDPA-capable device coming soon. (We’re hoping its the Bold.)

Wahoo!

Control yourself. BlackBerry 8320 Sunset.

BlackBerry 8320 Sunset ColorwayOkay. So, .. not really. Although it’s always nice to see some more color choices on T-Mobile, it’s really not all that exciting at all; considering the scattered releases of the Bold popping up in unexpected places in the past couple of days. I am getting pretty tired of my Titanium Curve.

The phone new colorway will be available starting tomorrow, August 4, at all T-Mobile retail stores, and over the phone, for $149.99 with a 2-year agreement. I’m not really sure what OS it will be running, but I’m betting all my nickels and dimes it’s going to be v4.2.2 even though Boy Genius’ leaked doc says any BlackBerry that launches before September will run 4.5 OOB.

Been lost for a while?
